Activity Hop — Privacy notice
Who we are
Activity Hop is a directory of children’s activity classes and tuition in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It is operated by Prashant Patwal, an individual based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Activity Hop is operated by an individual and is not an incorporated company.

What the app does
The directory is built into the app, so you can browse without an account and without sending us anything about yourself. The app also talks to the Activity Hop service over an encrypted connection for provider details and photos we have approved, published reviews, class timings, Google Maps ratings, your family account and your requests to providers.
Information about you
When you browse. We receive only the ordinary technical details of a request — including the network address it came from, which the service uses to apply rate limits and which appears in reduced form in short-lived server logs. Your saved listings and your choice of map app are stored on your device.
If you sign in. You sign in with your email address and a single-use code sent to it. There is no password. Signing in with a mobile number is not available at the moment; if it is switched on, this notice will say so before it is. We hold: that email address; anything you add to your profile (a display name, a mobile number, a broad area); for each child you add, a first name or nickname, a birth year and interests; your saved listings and activities; and the requests, questions and messages you send to providers, with what you chose to share (a child’s age, and a first name only if you opt in). Children’s details and messages are stored sealed.
If you email us. We receive your address and whatever you include, and use it to answer you. Our mailbox is provided by Namecheap (Private Email) and is read by Prashant Patwal.
Children
An adult parent or guardian holds the account. A child never creates an account and never signs in. A child’s record holds only a first name or nickname, a birth year and interests — no photograph, school, address, medical or academic information, and no gender. Activity Hop does not accept or publish a provider photo that shows an identifiable child.
Provider information in the directory
Listings hold business information compiled from public sources, preferring the provider’s own website: business name, activity categories, area or sector, a venue address for commercial venues, and the contact details the provider publishes. We do not show private home addresses, and we leave out anything a current public source does not support. A provider can claim, correct or ask us to remove their listing — write to support@activityhop.com. Activity Hop does not verify providers, and a listing is not an endorsement, a background check or a safety guarantee.
Reviews
A review you write is checked by Activity Hop before it appears, and is shown without your name or email address. You can edit or withdraw your own review. Activity Hop does not check that a family attended, and every review says so.
Google Maps
Activity Hop shows only its own ratings and parent reviews. We do not show Google ratings, Google review text or any other rating from Google. Google is used for directions: we store a Google place identifier for a branch so that Directions opens the right place, and your device contacts Google only when you tap Directions.
What we do not do
No advertising, no analytics or tracking code of our own, no crash-reporting service, and no selling or sharing of your information. Error diagnostics stay on your device. We do not send marketing email.
Other apps and websites
Nothing opens unless you tap it. “Get directions” passes the venue name and address to the map app you choose. Tapping a website, WhatsApp, phone or email action opens that app or service, which then acts under its own terms. Adding a class to your calendar creates a file on your device — nothing is sent to us.
Where information is processed
Sign-in codes to an email address are sent through Resend. Signing in by mobile number is not switched on; if it is, the SMS provider will be named here before it is.
The Activity Hop service runs on Vercel (application hosting, Singapore region) with its database on Neon (PostgreSQL, Singapore). Information you send us is therefore stored in Singapore, not in India. Our support mailbox is provided by Namecheap. Apple and Google hold app-store and testing information under their own terms.
Keeping information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was given. We have not settled exact retention periods, and we will not state one here until we have; this notice will give them when they are settled. You can delete your whole family account from Personal details in the app, which erases your profile, your children, your saved items and activities, what your requests shared, and the text of your reviews. You can also write to support@activityhop.com.
Security
Connections use HTTPS. The service holds sensitive fields sealed, uses least-privilege database logins, keeps an append-only audit trail, and keeps codes, addresses and messages out of logs. No service can promise perfect security.
Questions, corrections and grievances
Write to Activity Hop Support, support@activityhop.com, which also reaches Prashant Patwal as the grievance contact. We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and to give a substantive response within 7 working days where reasonably possible. These are our own targets, not statutory deadlines; where the law sets a different period, the law applies.

If this notice changes, the version and date above change with it.
